Career Fair 2014

The International Hellenic University’s annual Career Fair took place on Thursday, April 3, at the Nikopolis hotel in Thessaloniki. The event, organized by the Career Office, was attended by 52 leading Greek and multinational companies representing a diverse range of industries operating in various business sectors of the global market including business and economics, information technology and engineering, tourism, human resource management, food industry and many more.

This year, for the first time since the economic recession, a positive trend began to emerge in the job market since most of the companies were offering job opportunities from internships to part-time and full-time jobs.

IHU students and graduates had the opportunity to meet with employers, to have interviews with recruiters, learn about the situation in the global and the local job market and explore job opportunities.

All companies commented on the successful organization and many stated that they were impressed with the students’ level of preparation for the fair. Soon after the Career Fair, many students and graduates began to receive invitations for follow-up interviews.
